The DIDserver™ comes with a comprehensive easy to understand user manual which allows truly set and forget operation. There is no need for ongoing monitoring, configuration or maintenance and software updates are automatically installed whenever available.

The DIDserver™ replaces up to 6 different servers in a network – router/firewall/intrusion detection & prevention server/ email server/web server/file & print server. It also provides a significant reduction in “hidden costs” – reduction in costs for tracking, buying and implementing software upgrades and any necessary hardware upgrades to support new software releases, reduction in support costs, reduction in IS time and elimination of server software licensing administration.

Share one internet connection utilising the in built proxy server which caches a copy of each web page accessed until the cache is full at which point the oldest pages will be removed. When the page is next accessed, DIDserver™ delivers the page from the cache (after checking whether the page has changed). This saves time and money.

The DIDserver™ is designed to replace up to 6 different servers, which lowers power usage. DIDservers™ processor also has one of the lowest power consumptions, in idle state, DIDservers™ motherboard/processor uses 50% less power than an Intel 1.7GHz Pentium 4 workstation.
